BBC report on 10pm News 8th December.

December 10, 2009

You may have seen it.

BBC correspondent at  Copenhagen standing above the hall, telling us how large it is, giving us a sense of huge scale.

Then down the road he mentions there is a meeting going on of Anthropological  Global Warming sceptics.

The camera shows men through a grubby window, the whole shot made for one purpose only – to contrast unfavourably with the summit.

He goes inside and pans a room to show it is mostly older people there.

It is followed by a tiny clip of Lord Monckton.

The purpose of that piece was nothing short of propaganda.  There was zero journalistic integrity in the piece.  It was purely a piece to say “look how big it is” and then “look at these sad old men in a dingy room”.

What is the difference between a retired scientist and an employed one?

Think about it.
